C&I AND SMALL-UTILITY BESS
One BESS partner—from 126 kWh cabinets to multi-MWh storage
Whether your site operates at 400, 600, 690 or 800 V AC—or the transformer and grid concept is still unclear—HIS configures the battery, PCS, EMS and connection architecture around your project.

Commercial and industrial battery storage
Peak shaving, PV self-consumption, time-of-use, backup and EV charging. Modular HISbatt cabinets are combined with the PCS and EMS functions your site actually needs.

What battery size does my company need?
The right size depends on the 15-minute load profile, PV generation, grid-connection limit, target power, backup duration and intended applications. HIS evaluates these inputs and proposes a project-specific kW/kWh range instead of a generic battery size.
Can HIS connect a BESS to 400, 600, 690 or 800 V AC?
Yes. HIS combines different HISbatt cabinet and container systems with suitable inverter configurations for common LV voltages from 350 to 800 V AC. Where appropriate, a project-specific transformer and MV interface can be included.
Does every battery storage project need a transformer?
No. A transformer is only required when the BESS voltage, existing site voltage or grid-connection level makes it necessary. HIS first checks whether direct LV integration is technically and economically preferable.
Can one BESS combine several business cases?
Yes. The HIS energy management system can combine applications such as peak shaving, PV self-consumption, time-of-use optimisation, EV charging support, backup operation and interfaces to external energy-market partners, subject to the project design.
Can HIS help before the grid connection or SLD is final?
Yes. Even with incomplete infrastructure data, HIS can perform an initial technical check, identify missing inputs and recommend a connection architecture for discussion with the EPC, planner and grid operator.
